The earlier in your pregnancy, the better! I book a limited number of newborn sessions every month to ensure availability in my schedule. To reserve your spot, we’ll book your due date and then schedule your actual session once baby arrives. If you just had your baby and never got around to booking a newborn session, that’s alright, too! I always try to save room for surprise babies, so please feel free to reach out to me!
Within the first two weeks of life (5-15 days) or within the first two weeks after discharge from the hospital, in the event of an extended stay. Don't worry, 5-15 days is just a suggestion, not a rule. We can still capture amazing photographs of your little one even if they are a little older! Please do not be afraid to contact me if you have a NICU or preemie baby that is older!
I travel to you! Stay in the comfort of your own home and let me bring my studio to you! I'll do the heavy lifting while your family enjoys those fresh newborn snuggles.
I bring all props for your baby including: wraps, blankets, headbands, baskets, backdrops and lighting. Prior to your session, we will discuss your fabric color choices and prop options. I want to create art that you can proudly hang on your walls that will compliment your home décor.
All you need to provide is a clear floor space and an open outlet.
A full 2-3 hours are dedicated to capturing these timeless images. This allows for ample breaks to feed and change baby, to cuddle and settle baby, and to calmly switch between poses and setups. A relaxed, un-rushed session is my goal!
I would love to photograph your twins! There is no difference in price but keep in mind it might take approximately an extra 30 minutes for your session.
I do occasionally work with an assistant. I do ask my clients to be available during the session to act as a spotter while your baby is in a prop. Your little one's safety is my top priority!
